BANTAM BEARS FALL SHORT IN GAMES 3 & 4
The Cavalcade Ford Bantam Bears struggled with back-to-back losses this weekend in St Mary's.Any hope for a sweep fell short as game 3 had the Bears struggling to find their feet right out of the gate.......

......... St Mary's was all over South Muskoka, forechecking and back checking with authority.  Another edge of your seat hockey game which resulted in OT. Only 4 minutes into the 4th pd a scrum in front of the net resulted in the puck crossing the line giving the Rock their first win of the series. Final score was 2-1.
Game 4 started out strong for the Bears. While they hustled and pinched, the wheels started to fall off in the dreaded 2nd frame. A mishandled snatch by the Bears goalie had the puck slipping out and literally falling into the net.  Minutes later the crease was bottlenecked and the south muskoka goaltender was scrambling to find his feet when a St Mary's player jammed it netside.
This game quickly fell apart.
The boys could not regain their composure. While the Rock's tendie was playing stern playoff hockey, South Muskoka couldn't buy a tip or a bounce. The third had the Bears scrambling and panicking - but to no avail. An open netter put this train wreck to bed and secured a game 5. Final score was 4-1.
With this series split now at 2-2, game 5 will dictate the 2017 All- Ontario provincial champions with Bears having home ice advantage.
The puck drops March 25th @ 3:15 in Bracebridge.
Please come out, fill that arena and give these Bears the home energy they need to win at home!!
