BANTAM BEARS CONTINUE TO CLEAN HOUSE
The Cavalcade Ford Bantam Bears continue their winning streak as they take the first 2 games in round 3 semi-final, All -Ontario playoffs.  Game 1 had the Bears.....

trekking to Lindsay for an afternoon faceoff. By the end of the first frame South Muskoka had a 2-0 lead. Not the Bears strongest attempt, when it was all said and done they notched this win with a final score of 3-0.

Sunday Feb. 26th had
South Muskoka playing host to the Lindsay Muskies. With a solid hometown crowd present, the Bears surfaced the ice ready to get down to business. Hard - hitting right out of the gate, the Bears were quick to draw a penalty from the Muskies. The Lindsay player lost complete control, physically retaliated against the referee and was immediately suspended.

A bizarre start to game 2, the Bears kept their composure and sealed the first period with a 3-0 advantage. A strong physical presence gave South Muskoka a huge advantage. By the end of the 3rd this was 6-2 win.

Game 3 takes place Wednesday, March 1st back in Lindsay. With an anticipated sweep, the Bears could feasibly begin All - Ontario championship finals next weekend.

This road to OMHA finals has been one of hard work, commitment by the players and a sense of strong discipline. Representing their hometowns with pride, the Calvacade Ford Bantam Bears are a group of respectful young men displaying sportsmanship and fortitude at all angles.  Already champions in every sense.
