Scotiabank Peewee HL Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears 1 and 1 in the MPS Houeleague Loop
Coming off the win 3-1 last weekend vs. Muskoka Rock, Scotiabank Peewee HL Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears headed to Huntsville to meet Sargeant Fuels. A close game ending with a 2-0 loss for Scotiabank Peewee HL Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears.
The 1st period was gridlocked with no scoring at either end. Lots of puck battles and some great defensive plays in our end.
In the
2nd period the Giant Tiger Grizzlies got their passing going and had some good scoring chances, but it was Huntsville Sargeant Fuel that got on the scoreboard late in the period, to make it a 1-0 game.
In the 3rd, the Grizzlies again had some great passing plays to get the puck down the ice but just couldn't find the back of the net. Goaltender for the Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears, Cam C was solid in net with some incredible glove saves.
Final score 2-0 for Huntsville Sargeant Fuel. A great effort by everyone, way to go team!
