Hello Bear Families,
With the news of a province wide lockdown, that definitely puts a damper on our plans to continue skating.....
...Thank you for everyone's responses to continue in Red. Both arenas have asked us our intentions to continue the season and this timely info helped with our response. The great news is we have almost everyone who wishes to continue to skate.
This grey lockdown will be 28 days for us as we are considered southern Ontario. It means that no programming/skating will continue until we move back to red. Our understanding from the provinces message yesterday, is that the Grey Lockdown will be evaluated as we progress through the month. So, we will have to wait and see when we can get back on the ice.
Please rest assure that we will also provide a breakdown of finances. There will most likely be a credit of a certain amount
on ice time missed so that fees paid are fair for everyone. We will not have that amount until we know when we can go back to Red which we can then calculate the time missed on the ice with the arenas.
In the meantime, the board will work with the arenas, coaches, managers and schedules for our return to play when we are allowed. If at any time you have questions, please direct them to the appropriate Director for a response. Please give us a little grace in responses as we will be taking some time to be with our families over periods of the break.
Have a wonderful break!
