NorStar Bears Conclude Regular Season With New Faces!
The NorStar Novice Bears concluded their 2013-2014 regular season on a high note with the introduction of two A/P faces who contributed both offense and defense to an all around phenomenal team effort all around.
The Coaching staff used A/Ps Mitchell Pate and Dylan Brinks to participate in the final regular season game for the NorStar Novice Bears. Both players showed up ready to go and contributed huge defense and offense to each period of the game. Dylan Brinks provided two assists to the Downer and Quesnelle line, and Mitchell Pate added the final goal to the winning tally.
The Bears were passing better than the World Jr team, Budney with some slick backwards through the legs magic, Hammond with some sick sideways face offs.
Super quick legs and toughness from Fry and Crockford and a beauty of a top shelf goal from the point by Rogers were some of the many bright moments of the game.
Bench staff switching up lines and positions, with Guthrie and Thompson stepping into D and showing some amazing adaptability and versatility. Regular D, Budney, Davis, Greenfield and Stephen giving usual and regular muscle.
Great effort from all team members and another shut out for pipe blocker Dann! Phenomenal effort and fantastic way to wrap up the regular season! Bring on the playdowns! GO BEARS GO!
