NORSTAR NOVICE BEARS IN CONTROL!
The NorStar Bears headed into their third game of the regular season against a North Muskoka team that they have yet to face in the last couple of seasons...
The Bears were at home in the Bracebridge barn for game two of a three game home stretch. Facing the North Muskoka Lightning the Bears were unsure of what their opponent would hand them. After a quick start the Lightning put one past Bears goalie Brody Dann for a 1-0 lead. There was no looking back for the Bears as they scored almost 7 goals a period. The Coaching staff were mixing up lines and positions to see if the Bears could adapt to change. Each line proved that they could play all positions asked of them. It looked a little chaotic at times but the Bears accommodated to the switch ups quickly. Next up is our last game of three at home against the Parry Sound Shamrocks out at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre the afternoon of Sunday October 6th at 3:30.
