MVP for the Schomberg Tournament - January 8th, 2017.
After our amazing team won the Division “B” Championship at
the Red & White Tournament in Schomberg on January 8th, 2017,
the last thing to do was declare one of our players the MVP for the
tournament.
While everyone played fabulously as a team throughout the
day, there was one player who wholeheartedly deserved this award, and that was Mason
W.
Mason came to the tournament determined and ready to play, and play he did. He tallied 13 of our team’s 14 goals over the three games and was credited with an assist on the only goal he didn’t score. While it is clear to anyone who watches the games, that Mason has superior hockey skills, it is not just his skills that make him a strong contributor to our team.
Mason comes to each game ready to play and never lets the scoreboard get him down while giving it his all. He plays the game with excitement and his adrenaline is contagious. It seems that everyone plays better and works harder as a team with Mason leading by example. Congratulations Mason on your accomplishments today. You are a valuable part of our Blakewood team.
