SMMHA Announces Development Skates & Evaluation Dates
South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association is excited to announce details for the upcoming development skates and evaluation process (Tryouts) for the 2026–2027 season.

Players looking to prepare for evaluations are encouraged to take part in the spring development skates, designed to help athletes get back on the ice, build confidence, and sharpen their skills ahead of tryouts.

Registration Details

Online registration opens March 30th for Development Skates and April 1st for Evaluation Skates - REGISTER HERE

  • Development Skates: $40.00 (includes all four ice times)

  • Evaluation Tryout Cards: $75.00

Please note: Development skates are only open to players registered with SMMHA for the 2025–2026 season. ONLY 40 SPOTS AVAILBLE FOR EACH AGE GROUP. 

Registration deadlines:

  • Development Skates: April 7th at 11:00 PM

  • Evaluation Tryout Cards: May 1st at 11:00 PM

All sessions will take place at the Graham Murray Arena in Gravenhurst.
