February 3 game vs Blakewood ConstructionThe February 3rd game saw the boys come out with more resolve in the rematch against Blakewood Construction. An early goal saw Envotek go up 1-0. However, they were unable to hold the lead, and the two teams went into the 2nd period tied at 1-1. The kids continued some strong pressure early in the 2nd, but it was the opposing team that was able to take the lead after a puck left the zone, resulting in a breakaway after some sustained Envotek forechecking. This resulted in a short lag and Blakewood added two more goals in the 2nd. The kids never gave up, coming on strong in the latter half of the third with some quality scoring chances.
Jaxon earned Player of the Game for his non-stop efforts through the game, working hard even with the team down 4-1 and never giving up.
