CC Tatham Pee Wee Local League, began their season with a few
experienced players along with a couple of others new to hockey. With skill
behind......
....the boys on the bench (Coach: Tyler Middaugh, Assistant Coach: Dave Bonell and Trainer: Mike Morrow) our team experienced a season of fun, new experiences and friendship building.
CC Tatham began their season slow but steady and sharpened their skills (looking fine in their custom warm up suits) at the North Bay Challenge Cup in December. The boys found themselves up against some tough competition but the weekend offered some great bonding time and a chance for a couple of players to have a taste of their first tournament.
The new year found the team working well together, but finding the net to gather enough points for a win was tough. The great thing was, there was never anyone discouraged. Although more wins would have been great, this group of young men really enjoyed hanging out together: in the dressing room, on the ice at a potluck or at the end of season celebration.
Our final game of the season in Parry Sound was the bell ringer, as CC Tatham finished their season with a win over Huntsville. It was a sweet.
Parents and boys agreed that 2016-2017 hockey season was one of the best yet.
Many thanks CC Tatham!
