Matt Kelley Memorial -- U-18 (C/CC), 2022-2023 (South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association)

The Matt Kelley Memorial U-18C tournament wrapped up in Bracebridge last Sunday, with the final game being played between the Minto Mad Dogs and the South Bruce Blades.  The Minto Mad Dogs were undefeated heading into the Championship game, where they faced off against the South Bruce Blades, who had won 3 of their 4 round robin games.  Impressive hockey was played by all but Minto took the Championship title beating the South Bruce Blades by a score of 6 - 1.  Many thanks to the U-18C South Muskoka Bears' sponsor, Edward Jones Investment, for being such a strong supporter of minor hockey.  

The Matt Kelley Memorial U-18C Tournament, the Bears' second home tournament of the year, kicked off yesterday in Gravenhurst.  Eight teams (the Delhi Rockets, Huntsville Otters, Mariposa Lightning, Minto Mad Dogs, Mount Brydges Cougars, South Bruce Blades, Tavistock Titans and of course, our very own South Muskoka Bears, are all vying for the title of Champion and to bring home the gold.  Come on down and show some home team spirit; the Bears play today at 11:20 a.m. in Gravenhurst and tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Bracebridge; as well they play a 4th game tomorrow, time TBD  - please check the ...
