a 4-0 win against rivals, Scotiabank Peewee HL CC Tathum Kodiak Bears.
The 1st period brought end-to-end play with very few scoring chances for either team, but with 22 seconds left in the period, Scotiabank Peewee HL Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears get on the scoreboard to make it a 1-0 game. Goal scored by Cole F, assisted by Ethan T. and Madison B.
The 2nd period showed just how evenly matched these teams are with no scoring for either team. Giant Tiger Grizzly forwards were doing a great job backchecking, and the defense were doing an excellent job of clearing the puck out of their end.
The 3rd period started off with the same end-to-end play but with more scoring chances at both ends. Giant Tiger Grizzly Bear netminder Cam C. made more than a couple of outstanding saves, on his way to his first shut out of the season. At almost the ½ way mark of the 3rd, Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears put another one past the CC Tathum Kodiak Bears goaltender. Goal scored by Ethan T., assisted by Ethan C. making it a 2-0 game for the Giant Tiger Grizzlies. With less than 4 minutes to go in the 3rd period the Giant Tiger Grizzlies really put on the pressure in the offensive end with two quick goals by the same forward line, both goals scored by Owen M., with two assists to John C., and an assist to Tenney D. and Madison B.
Final score 4-0, the second win of the season for Scotiabank Peewee HL Giant Tiger Grizzly Bears, with a shut out for netminder Cam C.
