2015/16 Chub Downey 1960-61 Kinsmen Juv. Champs Annual HL Championship Rules
Welcome all teams to our fun Championship Games they will be held in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge arenas. Please check the schedule carefully to make sure you are at the right arena.
The rules are as follows:
There will be absolutely NO contact in this tournament.
Novices will play in point system games; 2 points for a win, 0 for a loss. Please ensure that you run your lines, encouraging fair play – even through penalty kills.
All games will be 3-10 minute periods, stop time.
Please try to be ready 30 minutes prior to your game start time, in case we are running ahead of schedule.
Novice will play each other in a true round-robin fashion, playing each other once. With the winner being announced at the final game. Atom, Peewee, Bantam teams, will play one championship game.
If any game ends in a tie; teams will play 3 on 3 for 4 minutes, running your lines until sudden victory. If still tied, there will be a shootout, sudden victory; no player may shoot twice until all players have shot.
The winners will be presented the trophy for picture opportunities. Please return the trophy to a tournament official following your game.
All decisions for the weekend will be made by the House League Convenor or his/her delegates.
All decisions are final.
