C Final team
Firstly, I’d like to thank all the players and parents for commitment to the U11C tryouts this week. I know it’s a stressfully time of the year where we all want the best for our player, the organization and the team. As a coach, it is always an exciting time of the year to see how players have developed and grown since last season and to see them give it their all on and off the ice. It is also a time where we have to make some tough choices as to the team we are going to select. I encourage every player to continue to chase their hockey goals, and regardless of if you made the team or not, continue to work for your goal throughout this season.
As a part of my tryout process, I have had independent evaluators with no affiliation to the players, and utilized non parent coaches to run drills so that all players have an equal opportunity to shine. This process allows me an opportunity to select the best combination of players to meet my season goals.
The following players have been selected to be on the U11C team, and have a practice scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 PM in Bracebridge. Please try to arrive at 2 so that we can have a short team meeting before taking the ice.
