Hockey Canada and OMHA rules will apply, except for the added rules/conditions as detailed below.

2

To be eligible to play in the Tournament, a player must appear on the roster submitted by each team and be registered with OMHA.

3

Only rostered and approved Team Officials are allowed on the bench during each game. Each team must have a carded trainer. If a team shows up without a trainer, it may request the use of the other team's trainer. Without at least one team official (coach) per team and one trainer between the teams, the game will be forfeited.

4

A maximum of 15 players are allowed per team including the player defending the goal. A player can only play for one team during the tournament.

5

Teams must be prepared to go on the ice 15 minutes before their scheduled game time.

6

Bench Team (Coach, Trainer, Manager, and Assistant Coach if applicable) WILL BE required to come to the registration table and check in 30 minutes before each game and sign the PARTICIPATION SHEET or the game cannot start.

7

The team official will notify the registration table and timekeeper box it is their final game.

8

After completing the final game, players are to be lined on the blue line so that they are listed on the PARTICIPATION SHEET. Each player will be called up to receive their medal starting with the goalie.

9

All Games will be played in the Gravenhurst and Bracebridge arenas.

10

The Centre ice puck drops once at the beginning of the game, rest of the game is played on the fly.

11

Referees on ice decisions are final

12

Blue pucks will be used.

13

Parents and guests are the team's responsibility. The inappropriate parent or guest behavior towards the competing team, any children, officials, coaches, arena staff, Jamboree staff, OMHA staff, and/or other parents may result in the expulsion of the team from the tournament

14

All games will be ½ ice games. Both games will run at the same time.

15

Any fighting penalties will result in immediate suspension of the player(s) involved from the tournament.

16

The 3-minute warm-up clock will commence when the ice resurfacing gate is closed. Teams must be ready to commence play after the buzzer sounds at the end of the 3-minute warm-up.

17

Jamboree games are played in a modified ice format: Game times are 36 minutes in length; two 18-minute “run-time” periods. Shift length will be on a timed buzzer, every two minutes. The Tournament Chair reserves the right to adjust game times to maintain the Jamboree schedule.

18

Flooding of the ice will occur at the end of alternating games (A,B , Flood, A, B, Flood).

19

No scores will be on the board or schedule.

20

SMMHA will not be responsible for any injuries incurred during the duration of the tournament. All precautions will be taken to protect participants.

21

We will be playing a 2 min buzzer system, with a 4 on 4 player system.

22

At the buzzer, players will be expected to go straight to the bench. As soon as buzzer goes players can come onto the ice. If your team is short players and you need to double shift, that player will have to come to the player’s bench and touch boards until the next 3 players have come onto ice.

23

Home team will be using defensive door and away team will be using offensive door.

24

If a team scores, that team will be required to skate back to centre ice and the Referee will toss the puck into the corner for the opposing team to restart the play.

25

If a referee calls a penalty, the coach will be notified and that player will be required to sit out his or her next shift.

26

Teams will be required to share dressing rooms to accommodate 4 teams on the ice at once. Please be respectful of other teams and keep your team together at one end of the room.

27

Teams are asked to change quickly after their game to leave the change rooms swiftly.

28

Teams coming onto the ice are asked to be lined up in the hall ways prior to final buzzer to allow teams coming off to enter the change rooms.
