Tim Greavette Memorial -- U-18 (B/BB), 2022-2023 (South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association)

The South Muskoka Bears wrapped up their first home tournament yesterday, with a final game that pitted the Riverside Rangers against the Napanee Stars.  After a nail biting first period and a half, the teams were evenly matched, each preventing the other from posting a score.  However, in the last half of the second period, the Rangers netted two big goals to take the lead.  Not to be outdone, the Stars rebounded back and posted two of their own, tying the game into the final minutes of play.  

The Midget U-18 B Tournament kicked off yesterday in Gravenhurst,  hosting SMMHA's first home tournament of the year.  The 7 teams vying for the Championship title are the:  Riverside Rangers, Dorchester Dragons, Pembroke Kings, Pelham Panthers, Huntsville Otters, Napanee Stars and of course, our South Muskoka Bears.  The first leg of the round robin has been completed and all teams are extremely competitive.  Come out and enjoy this fast and exciting level of hockey and cheer on our home team.  The Bears play at 10:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. today in Gravenhurst and tomorrow, at 10:15 a.m., with ...
