SMMHA AE Tournament Weekend
March 23-25, 2018

Tournament Name: SMMHA AE Tournament Weekend
When: Friday March 23 to Sunday March 25, 2018
Where: Bracebridge Memorial Arena 169 James Street/Gravenhurst Graeme Murray Arena 101 Centennial Drive



This Tournament is sanctioned by the OMHA and is subject to the Tournament Regulations issued by the OMHA.

The Tournament will be arranged as follows:



(1) Four Atom AE, Four Peewee AE, Four Bantam AE and Four Midget AE Teams will be accepted by the Tournament Committee on a first come first serve by payment basis.  The Committee reserves the right to accept, or reject any Team.

(2) Three games are guaranteed, with a possible forth being a semi final game and possible fifth being a championship game.

(3) Game play begins Friday afternoon.

(4) Awards provided.

(5) There are no gate fees for the Tournament.

(6) Generally teams accepted will be those that fall into OMHA classifications A to C, although the Tournament Committee reserves the right to accept a team from a lower classification.

(7) Registration for entry to the Tournament is dealt with on a first come, first serve by payment basis (no exceptions).  Registration Form available on our website.

(8) The entry fee is $900 per team.  Please make cheques payable to: South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association, and mail to the address noted below.  Your team's entry fee cheque will be cashed immediately. Post dated cheques are not accepted.

(9) Your Letter of Permission/Travel Permit must accompany your the Tournament Fee.

(10) Acceptance of your team will be confirmed by email or phone call.  

(11) If a team withdraws prior to 20 days before the start of the Tournament, the entry fee will be refunded only if a replacement team can be found.  If a team withdraws within 20 days of the start of the tournament no refund will be given even if a replacement team is found.

(12) The Tournament Schedule will be available approximately 1 week prior to the first day of the Tournament.

- that you read the General Information
- that you read the Tournaments Rules (and understand they may change depending on the number of teams entered)
- fill out the Registration Form


To secure your spot in our Tournament:

- fill out the Registration form, and
- mail the Tournament Fee $900, and
- email/mail your Travel Permit from OMHA


Your OMHA approved Team Roster is also required to be submitted following confirmation by the Tournament Director of your acceptance into the Tournament.  The Roster will be required no later than 21 days prior to the tournament date.
