Muskoka Kia U-15 C Scores Big!
Despite a rocky week with the Bracebridge arena closure this week, the Muskoka Kia U-15C team scored big today, through the generosity of Maple Leaf Sports Entertainment. MLSE donated tickets so that the entire team, along with parents and siblings, could take in the Toronto Maple Leafs play their first preseason game today at the Scotiabank Arena, against the Ottawa Senators.
The team, donning their South Muskoka Bears jerseys, had an fun, eventful and memorable day. The hockey was fantastic, with the Leafs triumphing over the Senators 4 -1, and the boys had a great day out, which gave them the opportunity to catch out with old teammates from last season and to get to know those who are new to the team.
A great big shout out and thanks to MLSE for their generosity in giving these boys such an amazing opportunity. And also, many thanks to Coach Trevor and Ashley, for all their work behind the scenes to make this actually happen for the boys. What a great start to our 2022 - 2023 year!
