The NorStar South Muskoka Bears U11 Rep. team tied their first regular season game 7-7 against Penetang Saturday Oct. 23. It was a solid start from Hinton in net. Parker broke the ice and scored the first goal within the first 5minutes. Hayden spun free from the crowd which opened up a great goal for the team. Guy shot from the point and it was tipped in. Weening was solid on the blue and scored from the point. Even though the arena was cold, the crowd kept the Bears pumped up with cheers for the other 3 goals scored. A strong clear from Fitzmaurice in last few seconds, resulted in pass to Guy and shot from Parker that hit the post and just couldn’t get past the goal line. Buzzer left the Bears with a tie!
