The Bears started strong with a win against the Loyalist team setting up a rematch against the Napanee Stars.The Bears stuck to their game plan and beat Napanee to earn 1st place spot in the Semis.Semi Finals against the big Kingston Canadians started with lots of pressure on the Bears Defense and Kingston netted the first goal early in the 1st periodbut the Bears responded with 3 straight goals to win the game and earn a spot in the Finals.In the Finals against Frontenacthe Bears didnt get the bounces and Frontenac won the game.While the weekends result wasn't a Gold necklace the Bears left the building with thier heads held high and a little more confidence in what they can accomplish when they play as a team.
