Game 1 in the Books
Well it was the first game of the year for the Senior Local League team who took on the Almaguin Ice Devils tonight.    The game started very quickly without a whistle for the first five minutes of the game.

It was back and forth and definitely an entertaining game to watch.   Eventually the Bears scored first and quickly added to the total by going up 3-0.    Almaguin fought back to 3-2 and then the Bears went ahead again and then the game started slowing down with a few more penalties.   Some solid goaltending by Austin Parliament and then Samantha Mason who came in for the second half of the game to help get the Bears their first win of the year.    It was a lot of fun to watch and the coaching staff was very pleased with the effort and teamwork.   Looking forward to the rest of the season and a great start tonight!
