Terry's Independent Tyke Bears tied up with Muskoka Rock
The Terry's Independent Tyke Select Bears played home at home exhibition match ups November 15th and November 22nd first in Bracebridge and then in Port Carling

The puck dropped at Bracebridge Memorial Arena on November 15th and the Bears jumped out in front at 7:58 of the first period with a flick in off the goalie's glove by Lilli D. with assists from Willow D. and Carter I.  The Bears kept their offense moving with another by Jackson M. with assists by Jace C. and Palmer B.  The 1st period ended with the Bears holding a comfortable 3-0 lead.  The second period tested the Bears defence as the Rock came out skating hard and fast popping in a few to tie it up at 3 a piece.  The Bears went up 4-3 with a beaut from Everett B. assisted by Ty J.  The third period was a back and forth hard fought battle by both teams showing each other who was boss.  The Rock went ahead 5-4 and with .55 seconds left in the third period Lilli D. and Willow D. worked together to tie it up 5-5.  That's all she wrote.  Great team effort by each and every single Tyke Bear - skated hard, worked together as a team which resulted in a tie game.

The second match up went in Port Carling where each team was looking to come out on top.  The Bears opened up the scoring with two quick ones from Lilli D. with Willow D. and Carter I. providing great assists on the line.  The Rock skated fast and were gritty in the corners but phenomenal strong defence from Evan G., Everett B. Alex S. and Bennett C.  wouldn't give them the opportunity to score.  Hard as the Rock tried they could not break down the brick wall between the pipes T.J. B.  2-0 Bears after the 1st period.  Edwin G. took over net and held the Rock at bay for most of the period until Rock player #8 moved in with a deke between the D and fired one in to come within one of the Bears.  #8 went at it again and put one top shelf to tie it up 2-2 after 2.  Everett B. came skating in the break up the Rock D and popped one up top corner to give the Bears a 3-2 lead. Palmer B.  worked hard and stole the puck for a few great opportunities but was robbed by the Rock goalie. Cohen C. Ty J. and Kellan S. all hustled and worked their way into the Rock zone for some awesome chances but the puck just wouldn't cross the line.  The Rock came back with a couple to go up 4-3 but Jace C. made his moves to tie it up. Once again, the Bears skated, defended and worked as a cohesive unit, never giving up.

Next up Highland Storm in Minden next week.  Keep up the incredible team work!
