Exciting Game in Gravenhurst
Casino Rama says they deal excitement - well so does the Scotiabank Bantam House League Bantam division as Muskoka Kia tangled with Gravenhurst Plastics to a 3-3 draw. It started out with one team short a goalie.....
and Will G. channeled his inner Jonathan Quick and did an admirable job holding off Muskoka Kia as they peppered a few shots on net while they were lacking a fully equipped goaltender. Eventually Griff showed up to takeover the goaltending duties however no one had managed to score while he was quickly getting ready. Muskoka Kia jumped out to a 3-1 lead during the first two periods with some great playmaking however Gravenhurst Plastics managed to tie up the game in the third period which provided some great entertainment as the game came to a close. A last minute rush by Muskoka Kia was thwarted by Gravenhurst Plastics however everyone went away quite happy as everyone worked hard - each team only had about 7 or 8 skaters - and rest assured they should all have slept well.
Looking forward to a clinic first thing Sunday morning at 9am in the Gravenhurst Arena so we shall see everyone there.
