NORSTAR BEARS STORM THE STORM!
The NorStar Novice Bears started a three game home stretch at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre this evening against the Haliburton Storm.
The first period scoring opened up when Aydan Downer pushed one past the Haliburton Storm goalie with assists coming from Kale Rogers and Nolan Quesnelle. Haliburton fought hard and made many efforts to steal the puck away but the Bears just pressing to get it back.
The scoring flood gates opened up for the Bears in the second and third periods when all lines and players combined with a ton of slick passes, smart positioning, and strong defense which resulted in an abundance of goals. Ewan Davis popped in a beauty top shelf for a great defensive goal.
Solid shut out from goalie Brody Dann with some fast moving reflexes and glove saves.
