Canadiens invade the Leaf nation
In the Boston Pizza Novice House League Devision the Dodge Caravan South Muskoka Canadiens invaded the leaf bard with high hopes.
The Canadiens Lined up behind Andres in the locker room and with high hopes they took to the ice to face a very tough leaf team. In the first period Alex took a pass from Kead to skate his heart out and put one between the pips with only 2 second left in the shift. After that it was end to end action and both Goalies were standing on there heads and putting on a show for the crowd until Micheal received a great pass from Alex to put in behind the goalie.
The second period brought out the leaf team we feared and they ptut 2 goals on the board to tie the game up at 2. The last shift of the second period for Wesley he decided to go for a skate with the puck and put it under the pads of the leaf net minder to put us ahead.
The Third period we stood our ground and with great chances from Bodee and Jace who almost scored there first goals but where robed by the leafs. Adien with a great break scored our the final nail in the coffin for the leafs we won the game 5 - 3
Thanks to our friends the leafs our hole team was rewarded the players of the game and I handed out the Boston Pizza players of the game.
