First Tournament for Bantam AE
This past weekend, the Bantam AE team traveled to Prince Edward County to participate in their first tournament of the season. The 2012 Milk Tournament was held in the Wellington and Picton arenas.
The Bantam AE team played two games on Friday, participating against the Midland Centennials and Prince Edward County. On Saturday, the Bantam AE team played against Newcastle.
The Bantam AE team earned a spot in the finals which was played on Sunday in the Picton Arena. After a hard fought game, they came up short against Newcastle, but all agreed that it was a successful tournament. It was the first tournament of the season and placing second overall was well deserved.
Thanks to the coaching staff, trainers, manager, and all the dedicated parents that stood by the Bantam AE team.
